Intro to Cyclorama
This week we learnt how to light a photograph going to be deepetched. We leant that you must use a fair few lights almost a minimum of 4. 2 to light the background evenly and your light on the subject. This will help alot when using the cyclorama for our imaging assignment and some of our folio work.

Copying

Task 1 - Shoot with DSLR using polarising filters on camera and lights.
The photo was a bit speckled with high lights along the frame with out the polarising filters. When we put the filters on it made a huge difference and eliminated all the highlights and making the image much more attractive.

Task 2 - Shoot with simar back on the large format camera, done with mulit shot and single shot
The mulitshot was amazingly better than the single shot. You can see in the single shot the colour fringing almost colours the image. The second image is the multi shot which is amazingly sharp and perfect. I will defiantly be using the Sinar back multi shot for my folio. shots.

More tilt Shift

Eyes are in focus
Feet and legs are very out of focus
These are the second set of shots done using selective tilt shift. These were on a DSLR using a tilt shift lens to selectively focus on deferent parts of the body and face.
The 3rd set of photos using the large format with the digital back was not completed due to time constraints as we we ran out of time and almost went into our second lesson. I was really looking forward to using the large format with the digital back also.

In Camera Tilt shift

Group with Steve and Andrew
When putting these images onto my computer they all turned green im not sure why but i had to convert to black and white.
These three images were shot on the hasselblad with the tilt shift adapter.
The first shot was done using the tilt down to focus on the whole image
second shot was done but using the a bit of shift and rotating the lens.
third shot was done on 0 just to show the normal effect of just focus on one point with the depth of field.
Other shots and more details such as degrees of tilt and shift will be up once other group members post theirs.
