Week 4 - Glass

This workshop was one of the best workshops we have had over the whole year, I learnt so much and many tricks of the trade of beer photography.

We had a guest teacher for who used to shoot lots of beer photography, after this i am now very keen to shoot beer for my glass products. I think it will be very fun to experiment with all the tricks he taught us.

This shot was what looks like something a bit naughty haha.

The grey in the foreground is very distracting but i like the effect of the dark edges on the bottle. It also needs to be pulled in alot closer to not throw away pixels when cropping.

The hasselblads for the second time in a row have failed us, 1st time our CF cards didn't work in them and still don't and now it was saying magazine error. This gave us little time to get the shot done.

This shot was done extremely quick as we were packing up. we basically left our lighting setup from the last shot and chucked a piece of black card for the background and chucked in the glass.

Overall it was a very fun workshop and cant wait to try some more glass and chrome.
