This week we had a go a to shoot chrome and shinny objects. This defiantly turns out to be the hardest thing to shoot in the studio. We tried so many different things trying to light this coffee grinder such as completely surrounding it with a light box, changing camera angle, lighting with only reflectors and completely surrounding it with the soft box. In the end we went for the soft box on top looking straight down reflector underneath and two reflectors to the side. I am fairly happy with the lighting on the object but or composition is fairly bad.
It was a very fun and challenging assignment and should be fun to try chrome a bit more in the future.
